Today saw the under 12 blue team take on Enniskerry away from home. The Blue team had some new players togging out for their first game today. Two of the players were delayed getting to the game and Enniskerry kindly loaned us two of their players to make up our 9. The first half didn't go our way as it was taking time for our lads to gel and find their footing. The play was ragged and Enniskerry took full advantage and put away two clean goals.

We regrouped as a team at half time, refocused on our attacking plan for the second half. The boys put up a much better fight and through some clean passing play scored two good goals. Both goals were scored by John Jackson. Enniskerry did score two more goals which brought the final score to 4-2 to the home side. The blue team are finding their feet again despite not having a full squad. They are making great progress and a deserved win will surely soon come their way.
