What a match and what a result! Our Senior Ladies showed incredible grit and character on the road today, coming from behind to secure a hard-fought 3-2 win against a very tough Adamstown AFC side.

Things didn't go according to plan early on as Rovers conceded in the opening 5 minutes and fell further behind after a second goal on the 25-minute mark. But this team never knows when to quit! Keeping up her sensational form, our goal machine struck with two quick-fire goals before the break to send the sides in level at 2-2 at half-time.

The second half started a bit slow for Rovers, but the midfield soon rolled up their sleeves, took control of the game, and began pulling the strings. After creating and narrowly missing several chances to take the lead, Molly Sweeney stepped up in style—unleashing a phenomenal 25-yard free-kick straight into the top corner!

Rovers kept dominating the remainder of the half, while Adamstown pushed everything forward for a late equalizer. However, our backline stood firm to see out the win. A special mention goes to Sinead Keogh, who put in a top-class performance and was an absolute rock in central defense all afternoon.

With this brilliant victory, the girls have now picked up an amazing 7 points from 3 away games, sending them right to the top of the league table!

What a start to the season. Well done, ladies!
