The third team came up against champions elect Wicklow Town at Finlay Park tonight. The lads gave it everything against a very good Town side but the Town were just too strong running out 6-1 winners. The Rovers team having shown great character all season. Mikey Merrigan nabbed the Rovers goal on the night in a spirited team display. We wish Wicklow Town the very best in their quest for the title.
