Pictured is our under 15 team who were presented with their under 15 Section trophy and medals during the week. The team produced a stunning period during the competition winning 8, drawing 1 and losing none. They scored an Incredible 35 goals while only conceding 6, they also recorded 5 clean sheets in the nine games. They kicked off with an excellent 7-0 away win over Arklow United with Brandon Battams hitting a brace and singles from Lorcan Sinnott, Charlie Czwalina, Georgie O'Neill, Evan Conyard and Harri Armstrong. Game two saw them record a 9-0 home win over Newtown Juniors with Brandon Battams scoring and excellent hat-trick, two from Charlie Czwalina with Georgie O'Neill, Lorcan Sinnott, Sean O'Toole and Daniel Kavanagh all nabbing one each. Game three saw them defeat Aughrim Rangers at Whitegates winning 3-0 with Lorcan Sinnott firing home two and Daniel Kavanagh one. In game four they received a walkover from Roundwood. Game five saw Brandon Battams net four goals, Charlie Czwalina smash home three, Evan Conyard two and Alex Earls one in a 10-1 home victory over Avonmore B. Next up was Avonmore A and the lads won that 3-1 in Tullylusk with a brace from Lorcan Sinnott and a single from Brandon Battams. Game 7 saw them record a narrow 2-1 victory over Arklow Town at Whitegates, a Lorcan Sinnott double gained them three valuable points. Next up was Enniskerry and they had a comfortable 8-0 win in this one. Both Harri Armstrong and Brandon Battams hit the net twice, Jack Macklin, Lorcan Sinnott, Charlie Czwalina and Daniel Kavanagh all registered one a piece. The final game saw the lads drop their first points and lose their hundred percent record in a thrilling 3-3 draw away to a tough Shillelagh United side but the lads over looked this blip as they captured the trophy. A brace from Lorcan Sinnott and one from Harri Armstrong accounted for their goals in that thriller of a game. Congratulations to team manager Trevor Conyard, his assistant Ray Kenny and the squad on a successful campaign and the very best of luck in the semi final of the South Leinster section of the SFAI cup.
