The second half was all Rovers as they pushed hard to regain the lead. Their pressure paid off in the 57th minute when Eoghan Quinn was fouled in the box, and Mikie O’Neill stepped up to confidently dispatch the penalty and restore Rovers’ advantage.
O’Neill wasn’t finished there! In the 78th minute, he produced a neat finish to make it 3–1, sealing his brace and Rovers’ passage into the next round.
👏 There were notable performances throughout the team, particularly from captain Jack Collins, Kyrylo Kliuchnyk and Ronan Byrne, while Man of the Match Finn Murphy delivered an outstanding performance at the back.
