Our Leinster Senior team travelled to Elmdale Park to take on struggling Cherry Orchard hoping to maintain their recent impressive form and they duly obliged. The lads ran out convincing 9-1 winners as they proved ruthless in front of goal. Ciaran McGettigan is a man in a rich vein in front of goal, hot on his four goals last week he blasted home a hat-trick today. Adam Cox opened his account for the season with a well taken brace. Jim Foley from the penalty spot, Sam Brown, Tommy Smullen and Luke Dunne all added singles in this comprehensive victory. This win moves the lads up to fifth place in the table and with games in hand on the teams above them the lads have slowly moved themselves into title contention.
