The under 13A's were in action in the under 14 National cup today against Killeigh, a game they won 4-0 at home. Rovers had a great start, they piled forward in search of the first goal and had a couple of near misses before Giorgio Morgillo-Fidyk scored their first finishing off from a good cross from Cathal Byrne. Shortly after Rhys Behan got Rovers second with a lovely curling effort after a short corner play. In the second half the away side pushed hard but the Rovers keeper Ted Hasler made a couple of good saves. Rovers gained control again and they got their third and fourth goals with two clinical finishes from Wolsey Sloan Kelly and NJ Sinnott to book their place in round two and away tussle with Straffan AFC. Great result and a big thanks to Killeigh for a good sporting game.
