The 13B’s played Arklow United this morning and got their under 13 Bowl competition off to a great start with an 8-1 win. Martha Lambert scored early on to give them the perfect start. Rovers played some great football and got the second through Cian Lynch. Alvaro Martin then made it 3-0. Sean O'Keefe scored the goal of the game from the edge of the box curling a cracking right footed shot into the far corner. The second half saw Arklow pull one back but Rovers kept pushing and Martha Lambert fired home two more to complete her hat-trick. Sean O'Keefe added another from the penalty spot and Alvaro Martin got his second of the game to round off a good day for Rovers.
