Our under 11 blues entertained Carnew at the Rocky Road this morning and they recorded an impressive 5-2 victory. Rovers had all the play in first half and went in at half time 2-0 up thanks to goals from Seb Gould and Finn Murphy. Rovers utilised their whole squad with lots of changes and added three more goals from Kai Jameson and a brace from man of the match Finn Murphy to complete his hat-trick. Moment of the game however was a magnificent solo run from Olivia Stephenson on her debut for Rovers today. Picking the ball up in her own half, she weaved her way towards goals beating three players before been fouled just outside the Carnew box. Good win, roll on next week.
