"U11 Whites make a big Rackett in the first round of the Jim Hackett"
Rovers drew first blood on a glorious morning up at St Patricks National School with Paddy Donnelly delightfully volleying home a pinpoint cross from Mikie O'Neill. Rovers continued to push on and bulged the onion sack again through Mikie O Neill after a sintilizing mazy run from his own half.
The talent of a plentiful Glencormac squad shone through right before half time with a thunderbolt strike that narrowly beat our keeper Matt Gough.
2-1 Rovers at half time
No need for the hairdryer at half time. Some tactical tweaks and encouragement resulted in an emphatic second half from Rovers. Nadal Kinge stepped into the middle of the park and added two more goals to his tally this year, one being a bullet header that no keeper would have stopped.
Michael O Brien added to Rovers score board with Mikie O Neill adding to his double digit goal repertoire this season.
Great day at the office for Wicklow Rovers White.
Job done!
On to the next round we go!!!!!
