The under 14B's were away to St Anthonys B this morning. Today's game started off with a minute silence as a mark of respect for Wicklow under 12 manager Richie Quinn, who sadly passed away last weekend. Both teams started off strong with both of them testing the keepers early on but it was Anthonys who took the lead. Rovers got straight back into it with James Cummins hitting the net, with Rovers then hitting the crossbar twice in the space of a minute. Their hard work paid off with James Cummins setting up Turlough Byrne to make it 2-1. Rovers went in at the break 2-1 up, but Anthonys came out after the break and scored to bring the game level. Rovers kept pushing but got caught on the break and let Anthonys in to make it 3-2 . With a few minutes to go Rovers were awarded a penalty and up stepped Sean O'Keefe to fire home to level the game. The game finished 3-3, in a good team performance best players on the day were James Gurrie and Jack Barry.
