Wicklow Rovers and Arklow Town shared the spoils in an entertaining 3-3 draw after a match full of attacking football,  momentum swings, and late drama. Rovers made the brighter start and deservedly took the lead through Fionn Convery. 

Arklow Town responded against the run of play to level matters, but Wicklow regained the advantage when Brandon Goucher struck a superb long-range free kick into the top corner. Arklow grew into the contest and equalised once more to make it 2-2. 

Playing against the breeze in the second half seemed to energise Wicklow Rovers, who created a number of chances as they pushed to regain control. However, Arklow Town remained dangerous and, after striking the crossbar, eventually found a third goal to move in front.

To their credit, Wicklow Rovers never gave up. With just a couple of minutes remaining, Fionn Convery burst through the Arklow Town defence from the halfway line, went one-on-one with the goalkeeper, and coolly slotted home to make it 3-3. 

Rovers pressed hard for a winner in the closing moments, but Arklow held firm and the match finished all square. 

There were several strong individual performances on the day, with Lewis Merriman impressive in goal, Fionn Convery lively in attack, Brandon Goucher influential in midfield, Darragh McGowan working hard in the centre of the park, and Danny Vickers and Seb Phelan putting in solid displays in defence.
