A small but mighty U10 Blue squad made the trip to Carnew today, and what a day it was for football! With both the sun and the rain staying away, the stage was set for a massive test of not just the boys' skill, but their character—and they certainly didn't disappoint.

From the first whistle, our lads played their hearts out and left absolutely everything on the pitch. It was a brilliantly balanced game, with both sides evenly matched in desire and discipline. We saw a really mature, organized performance today; the link-up play up front was a joy to watch, while our midfielders were tireless, marauding up and down the pitch to support both the attack and the defense.

At the back, our defenders were absolute rocks, calmly dealing with every wave of attack thrown at them by a very strong Carnew side. In a game of incredibly fine margins, the boys managed to keep their noses narrowly in front until the final whistle. It was a win truly earned through pure grit, discipline, and technical skill.

What’s most exciting to see is that the understanding between these players is growing with every single match. They are starting to read each other’s movements and play as a true unit. The coaches couldn't be prouder of the heart this group showed today.
