What a fantastic morning we had for our very first U7 training session! The sun (mostly) behaved, the energy was electric, and the pitches were buzzing with the next generation of Wicklow Rovers stars.
It was brilliant to see so many familiar faces graduating from our Saturday Junior Academy into their first official team training. The "silky moves" were out in full force, but even better was the pure joy and love for the game shown by all the boys and girls.
The future of football in Wicklow is looking very bright indeed! A huge thanks to the coaches, parents, and most importantly, the players for making day one such a success.
We are still very much welcoming new faces to the squad! If your child was born in 2019 and wants to get involved in a fun, active environment, come along and join the session.
