It was with great sadness that the club heard of the sudden sad passing of one of the club's great clubmen. Jerry Scully was a true gentleman who gave years of great service to the club. Jerry was a big influence on the youth of the club especially the junior section coaching many kids through the junior ranks and on to the senior section.

He was a great committee man who worked hard for the club over the years. Jerry was a man who was well known for his good humoured nature and a man who loved the banter. Another of his attributes was the way he encouraged players within the club both junior and senior, a man who loved to talk football. He will be sadly missed by the many people who crossed his path, a true gentleman who was always in good humour and a great friend.

Jerry's three sons Jerry, David and James all played for the club. Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter Martina, sons Jerry, David and James, his adored grandchildren Aoife, Caitlin, Amy, Aiden, Grace, Rose, April, Tom, Erin, Jack, Callan and Áine, his mother Eileen, brothers Pat, Mike and John, sisters Agnes and Margaret, son in law Mark, daughters in law Ciara and Tasha, extended family and friends.

May he rest in peace.
