The U9s had their 3rd match of the season against a very tough Arklow United outfit. It was a bright and sunny afternoon which was full of energy, with both teams battling hard. The young players gave it their all, showing great enthusiasm and determination throughout the match. 

The game kicked off with both teams eager to showcase their skills. The first half was a true battle in the midfield, with both sides scrapping for possession and creating some exciting plays and scoring some great goals. The intensity was very high with a few close calls in front of goal kept the crowd on their toes, but both goalkeepers made some excellent saves keeping the the encounter to a relatively low scoring game. 

The second half saw more attacking play as both teams continued to show there attacking prowess. The battle on the field intensified, with some great tackling and quick counter-attacks. The players of both teams were persistent, testing the defences with hard shots, While there were some near-misses, the game remained at a fast pace showcasing the solid work of both defences.

Both sets of young players gave their all, creating a thrilling battle on the field. It was a day full of teamwork, passion, and plenty of promise for the future. With the sun shining brightly, the players showed great sportsmanship and made the most of their opportunity to play and learn together. Both teams can be proud of their efforts, and they will surely carry this experience into their next match.
