Saturday saw the U10 Greens make their way up to Greystones to take on Newcastle in their second game of the season.

The chilly morning did not prevent both teams getting up for the action and the first half saw both sides pushing for supremacy. Some excellent passages of play led to six goals being shared evenly at the break.

The second half saw the Greens assert themselves with sustained pressure leading to some fantastic individual and team goals. Well done to both sets of players and thanks to Newcastle for a good competitive match played in the right spirit.
