Our WDFL C team took on Roundwood in Vartry park this morning on the back of a poor result last time out up in Coolboy. Rovers came out with a point to prove and dominated from the first minute. After 15 minutes, Gary O Connor broke the deadlock after turning in Shane Devlins initial effort. 5 minutes later it was 2-0. Alan Power found Cesar Sullivan who rifled one into the top corner. Rovers made it 3-0 on the 35th minute mark, this time Reese Kelly turning it in from another set piece and that's how the half ended.

The second half seen the game even out , with little created on either side. Roundwood pulled a goal back 10 minutes in the half with a nice finish. However on the 75th minute mark, Rovers killed the game. Substitute Evan Butler whipped one into the bottom corner when the ball fell out to him at the edge of the box. 

A great result for the lads!
