Wicklow Rovers U14B kicked off their season with a 2-1 victory away to Arklow United U14B. Rovers began the game on the front foot, creating a few half-chances early on. 

In the 10th minute, Keefe Lang scored his first career goal to give Rovers the lead.
Rovers, led by captain and Man of the Match Cian Foley, continued to push forward at every opportunity. They created numerous chances to double their lead, but valiant defending from Arklow kept the score at 1-0 going into halftime.

Rovers started the second half brightly, and debutant Nathan Vickers scored within a minute of the restart to make it 2-0. However, Arklow pulled a goal back just a minute later, setting up a tense second half.
Cian Foley, Lucas Araminas, Daniel Morrissey, and Federico Caruso all had chances for Rovers to extend their lead, but they were unable to convert. 

As the game progressed, Rovers became edgy, and Arklow pushed for an equaliser. Despite the pressure, Arklow couldn't find a breakthrough, and Rovers held on to secure a 2-1 victory.

It was a strong start to the season for Rovers, with everyone on the team contributing to the win. Notable performances came from Rian Kavanagh, Davi Loboschi, Daniel Morrissey, and Federico Caruso.
