Before the whistle blew, a minute of silence fell over Woodlands, a moment of respect for Teddy Dunne, one of Wicklow Rovers' founding members, who recently passed away. 

Then, the match began, and our Senior A team delivered a performance Teddy would have been proud of, securing an emphatic 8-1 victory over Greystones United. Early on, Dylan Orr got Rovers on the board, but the first half was a bit of a slow burn.  

Then, the second half exploded! Theo Smyth doubled the lead, and from there, it was the Davey O'Sullivan show. He unleashed a four-goal masterclass, including a penalty and two absolutely stunning finishes, proving that age is just a number.  Jamie Hayden's incredible strike was another highlight, and Nathan Sullivan also found the net, capping off a ruthless display.

This win marks Rovers' eighth consecutive victory, a testament to their incredible form and determination. They now sit comfortably at the top of the Premier Division, inching closer to the title.  The team dedicated their performance to Teddy Dunne, honoring his legacy with a display of skill and passion.
