Wicklow Rovers Senior B team maintained their winning momentum with a fantastic 3-1 victory over Arklow Celtic in WDFL Division 1 this morning.
Following their impressive win against Glencormac last week in their first match back after the Christmas break, the young Rovers side traveled to Celtic Park and delivered another outstanding performance.
Rovers started brightly and took the lead after just 5 minutes. A brilliant ball from Jordan Sinnott found Charlie Czwalina, who headed home to give the visitors an early advantage.
The Rovers continued to create chances, with James Fagan and Georgie O'Neill both going close before Alex Sinnott doubled their lead. A perfectly weighted pass from James Fagan sent Sinnott through on goal, and the captain made no mistake from 18 yards.
