The U13C team continued their Shield E campaign when they travelled to Arklow Credit Union Park this afternoon to take on Arklow United U12B. Rovers started brightly but didn't make the chances count. And they paid the price for not converting when United scored before half time. It could have been more except for some fine goalkeeping from Loukas Karamalis, who was brilliant throughout. 

The second half began in the same fashion but again Rovers failed to score. United added a second and Rovers chased a goal of their own. A third Arklow goal followed and it was over as a contest by then. There were some experimental formations and positions for the last 10 minutes and Arklow added 2 more goals by the end of the game.
