Our U12B team continued their impressive Shield campaign with a convincing 4-1 win over St. Anthony's C at Whitegates last night.
The Rovers started strong, with Bogdan Kashcheiev opening the scoring with a powerful low drive. JD Delahunt quickly doubled the lead, finishing off a brilliant through ball from Charlie O'Neill. O'Neill then got in on the action himself, scoring a long-range stunner to make it 3-0.
St. Anthony's, to their credit, didn't let their heads drop and managed to pull a goal back before halftime. However, the Rovers' defense stood firm in the second half, limiting their chances. JD Delahunt sealed the victory with his second goal of the match, latching onto a great pass from Nathan Harris.
It was another fantastic performance from the U12Bs, who now sit top of their group and progress to the quarter-finals. Thanks to St. Anthony's for a great game.
