A tightly matched home fixture with Newtown Juniors was played out in front of an expectant crowd on a beautiful autumnal morning at the Hockey Pitch.
Both sides showed unrelenting resolve and determination, and no small amount of skill, to create a wonderful spectacle played in a great spirit. The fans were treated to flying saves, clinical finishes, flowing passes, and nerve-wracking goalmouth scrambles.

The match continued to ebb and flow, with neither side giving any quarter. Only the final whistle allowed everyone a well-deserved break to catch their breath and relax. Many thanks to all involved—managers, parents, and especially the players—who can take nothing but positives and credit for the match.
