Our Senior C team faced a setback last night at Whitegates, falling to a 2-0 defeat against Coolboy Rangers in a tightly contested match. This result comes on the heels of their impressive 3-1 season-opening victory against Ballywaltrim on September 29th.

The visitors took the lead early on, converting a penalty in the 10th minute after a strong run from their number 11. Rovers had a golden opportunity to equalize just 10 minutes later when they were awarded a penalty of their own, but unfortunately, the Coolboy goalkeeper made a fantastic save to deny them.

Chances were few and far between for both sides, but midway through the second half, Coolboy managed to double their lead and ultimately secure the victory.

Despite the frustrating result, our Senior C team showed great determination and resilience throughout the match. They'll be looking to bounce back from this defeat and recapture the form they displayed in their season opener when they take on their next opponent.
