Our Senior B team traveled to Ryders Field today to face Glencormac in a crucial Division 1 clash.  Despite falling behind early, the Rovers showed great character and determination to secure a well-deserved 2-1 victory.

Glencormac took the lead against the run of play, capitalizing on a corner kick opportunity. However, the Rovers quickly regrouped and began to create chances of their own, with Alex Sinnott, Georgie O'Neill, and Evan Conyard all coming close to finding the equalizer.

Early in the second half, Alex Sinnott finally broke through, latching onto a long kick from goalkeeper Matthew Keene and calmly slotting the ball home. The Rovers continued to push for a winner, but the Glencormac goalkeeper stood firm.

With just five minutes remaining, Jordan Sinnott emerged as the hero, expertly finishing a cross to give the Rovers a 2-1 lead. It was a fantastic finish that secured a vital three points for this young Rovers team.

This victory marks a significant improvement after a disappointing showing in their first game. The team demonstrated resilience, determination, and a strong team spirit to earn a valuable win on the road.
