Wicklow Rovers U9 Whites faced a tough test against an in-form Avonmore side, who utilized their early momentum to establish a comfortable lead at halftime. 

However, the Rovers refused to back down and showcased their fighting spirit in the second half, with Matthew Clarke netting two brilliant goals and Sam Bewley adding another. 

The tide had turned, with Rovers applying relentless pressure and pushing for an equalizer. Despite Avonmore's late goal sealing the victory, the Rovers demonstrated tremendous heart and determination.
