The 15A's were cruelly beaten in the last minute of extra time in the premier cup final today. The game itself was a tight affair with defences on top throughout. The first half was limited of clear-cut chances, Cillian Czwalina tested the Arklow keeper from twenty-five yards with Giorgio Morgillo-Fidyk saving well for Rovers. The second half saw both sides create a bit more in the way of good chances. Rovers had the better of the chances but found the Arklow keeper in inspired form. With the game looking like it was heading for penalties, Arklow popped up with the winner with virtually the last kick of the game. The lads had their chances but didn't have the luck in front of goal. Hard luck lads and congratulations to Arklow United.
