Well if it was goals you were looking for Arklow Credit Union Park was the place to be in what proved to a thriller. Our 14B team took on Arklow United B and the teams produced a classic encounter. Arklow United were 6-4 winners on the day but after this encounter everyone should take a bow, football was the real winner. It was a thrilling end to end game with both sides going all out attack. The only surprising thing was we didn't have more goals. Rovers goalscorers on the day saw John Jackson hit a brace with Jim O'Brien and Fionn Convey registering singles. It was an excellent performance from the lads. Both teams need to take a bow for providing the supporters with a fantastic game of football. Well done to both teams.
