Our U13B's were on the road this morning with an away game against Enniskerry. In their last game before the mid-season break, Rovers showed their desire to end on a high with a great team performance. Eoghan Quinn opened the scoring on six minutes with a great run down the right, and his ball across the box was deflected in for an unfortunate own goal and it was 1-0 to Rovers. Then, on twenty-five minutes, Cian Foley played a great through ball to set Daniel Morrissey free. Morissey, seeing the keeper advance off his line, chipped a great shot that sailed over and into the net for 2-0 at half time. Rovers started sharp in the second half, with Chris Delahunt feeding Cian Foley in midfield, and Foley hit a superb shot from 20 yards that hit the bottom corner of the net for 3 nil. Foley then had his second assist of the game, playing in Lukas Araminus, who finished well. Araminus then made his own space with some great feet and finished well again to make it 5-0 in the 43rd minute. Alex Philippon then added to his season tally with his 7th and 8th goals of the season on the 47th and 50th to make it 7-0 on the day. A great way to head into the break with a fantastic team performance and MOTM for Cian Foley. Thank you to Enniskerry
