The early morning starts finally caught up with our U13B's as they kicked off at 9.30 v St Anthonys A in Kilcoole this morning. Rovers started well but conceded two scrapy goals on 14 and 18 minutes to give themselves a tough task to get back into this one. Then on 22 minutes a fantastic double save from MOTM, goalkeeper Matthew Gough looked to have given them hope, only for the ball to fall at the feet of a St Anthonys attacker so see them 3 nil down at half time. Rovers went to three at the back for the second half and played much better and had their chances, but could not get the breakthrough they needed, and the game finished 3 nil to St Anthonys. Best of luck to St Anthonys in the final and thank you for a great game.
