It was a very interesting match up at the Hockey Pitch this morning between our under 9 whites and Rathnew. The kids put on a great show, Rathnew got off to a flying start with three excellent goals. But this little Rovers team never give up with Danial Collins with a brace and Eoin Matthew’s with a single hitting three goals for Rovers. It really was end to end stuff with Rathnew nabbing a fourth in the last few minutes. It was an exciting and enjoyable game to watch, players on both teams gave it their all. Rovers were delighted with their performance and you couldn’t have asked for anymore out of them. Big thanks to Rathnew for their part in a very entertaining match.🟢⚪️
