Yet another early start for our under 13B's who had a 9.45 ko away to Arklow Town A. In a very tight first half, Matthew Gough kept Rovers in it with some great saves and one that was a  finger tip save over the bar. Eoghan Quinn made his entrance on 15 minutes and didn't take long to put Rovers ahead. A great ball through from Davi Loboschi on 22 minutes saw Quinn bearing down on goal and his powerful right foot finish gave the Arklow Town keeper no chance. Just before half time, the ref decided to award Arklow a penalty to the surprise of all at the game, which Arklow converted, giving the keeper no chance. 1-1 at half time.

Rovers regrouped and didn't let it affect them, and just 2 minutes into the second half they restored their lead when Lukas Araminas sloted home after the keeper fumbled another powerful Quinn shot to make it 2-1. Rovers kept pushing and on 43 minutes it was Araminus again who was there for another tap in to make it 3-1 to Rovers. And that's how it finished, with notable performances from Kyrylo Kliuchnyk, Eoghan Quinn, captain Chris Delahunt, Lukas Araminus, keeper Matthew Gough and MOTM Michael Carroll at centre half. Well done to Arklow Town, who battled hard all game, but Rovers win the points and now look forward to their League Cup Semi Final next Sunday v St Anthonys A.
