The 12B's made the short journey to Shamrock Park to take on neighbours Rathnew last night. The side have been a little unlucky in some of their recent games not to get something from those games. Therefore, they were still searching for their first point of the season. Well last night, they got their first point of the campaign with a battling display against a very good Rathnew team. Both teams were on the front foot from the start in what was a good attacking game. On the final whistle, the spoils were shared in a 2-2 draw. JD Delahunt nabbed his fourth of the season with Charlie O'Neill firing home his second of the campaign in what was a good all round Rovers performance. Big thanks to neighbours Rathnew for a very good and exciting game of football.
