Congratulations to Paul Sweeney, Tom Doyle and our senior ladies team, who added the league title to their shield success tonight without kicking a ball. As it stood, Rovers had finished their league programme and sat on top of the league 4 points clear of Oylegate United, who had 2 games remaining. One of those games was tonight against Camolin Celtic and a defeat for Oylegate tonight meant Rovers can't be caught now and give the ladies the second part of a possible quadruple. The league and shield are now nicely tucked away, and they can now concentrate on their divisional cup quarter final away to Fastnet Rovers this Sunday and then a Wexford Cup semi final.
