Our senior B team travelled to Arklow Town this evening in a division 1 encounter. Rovers took the lead through a Cormac Doyle goal and were unlucky to be denied what looked like a stone wall penalty. Arklow equalised mid way through the first half to go in at the break 1-1. The Town took the lead ten minutes into the second half. Jordan Sinnott rattled the cross bar with a ferocious free kick. Rovers piled on the pressure with 15 minutes to go as Arklow were reduced to 10 men but couldn’t find a breakthrough. A very good performance despite defeat. Jordan Sinnott, Conor Lewins and Georgie O'Neill were stand out performers on the day.
