In a hotly contested game, both Rovers under 8 whites and Newtown Juniors braved the weather conditions to put in a great performance and excellent morning of football. Players and parents ignored the wind and rain and focused on playing the game. The kids are putting into practise the drills from training, and it's clear to see their development on the field. Smiles all round at the end: because of the football, the result and getting out of the rain!
