The 12C's were involved in a very entertaining game of football on the Rocky Road to open up their season today. The game was full of goals and attacking football. Rovers couldn't have asked for a bigger test than to open up against a B team in the shape of a good St Anthonys side. The team can be very proud of their efforts in their first game in the competitive grade. They pushed St Anthonys all the way until the very last minute and playing some lovely football in the process. Billy Nolan on his debut bagged himself two goals with Aaron Foley firing home a single. Rovers were very unlucky not to get something from the game. On to the next!
