Our WDFL C team took on Glenealy today at Finlay Park. In the reverse fixture this season Glenealy ran out 3-0 winners at Whitegates, so the lads were looking for a positive result today after a run of losses.

Rovers took their chances in the first half and were 2-0 up after goals from James Byrne and Alex Butler. Glenealy came out strong in the second half and scored twice to level the game at 2-2, which proved to be the final result after a great battle between both sides.

A big shout out to Rovers Goalkeeper Pat Sammon who was the MOTM on the day with multiple big saves.
