Our senior B team travelled to high flying Arklow Celtic this morning and came away with a share of the spoils in a brilliant hard fought 4-4 draw. Arklow took a 3 nil lead before Jordan Sinnott pulled a goal back from a Charlie Czwalina corner. Five minutes later brilliant football from James Fagan put Tadgh Lord through and his powerful effort zipped past the Celtic keeper to make it 3-2 at half time. The second half was five minutes old when a clever Charlie Czwalina ball over the Arklow defence set Cormac Doyle away and he lobbed the keeper brilliantly to make it 3-3. Rovers were pushing and pushing and Sam Brown went close before making amends and finishing brilliantly to go 4-3 ahead. Celtic showed why they are one of the top teams in the league and levelled matters with five minutes to go. A good first point for this team who showed great character and fight today. Missing a number of players as well, the lads gave it their all. Charlie Czwalina, Dillon Vickers and Jordan Sinnott were brilliant today. We would like to wish a speedy recovery to James Fagan, who picked up a nasty arm injury at the start of the second half. We hope to see you back on the pitch soon James
