The U12C's finished off their season at home to Ashford Rovers today. Wicklow Rovers started brightly and had a couple of half chances before Ashford took the lead with a well worked goal. Loukas Karamalis kept his team in it with a number of quality saves and excellent reading of the game. Cian Collins was unlucky with an attempt, and Cayden O'Malley struck one from range, which was tipped over by the Ashford keeper. Rovers had a couple of more half chances but couldn't find the net. Ashford came out for the second half with all guns blazing and added two more goals. The Wicklow heads never dropped, and they continued to search for a way back into the game. Kai Jameson finished well following some good interplay to make it 3-1, and that became the final score as Ashford kept Wicklow at bay for the remainder of the half. Big thanks to Ashford for an entertaining game.
