Our under 10 whites put in a good display yesterday away to local neighbours Rathnew AFC. This proved to be a game of two halfs with lovely football by the boys particularly in the second half against a very good Rathnew team and were complimented by the opposite coaches. Unlucky in front of goal on numerous occasions but there were plenty of chances created with the lads getting in the right positions. Most encouraging of all was the character shown by the boys and continuing to play football in the right way against strong opposition even when things weren’t exactly going their way, couldn’t ask for anymore from a great bunch. Thanks to a very good Rathnew team for hosting us and giving us a good tough but fair game.
